"RamonaInternet.com" Updates

Subject: A Change in Services Going Into Effect
This will be effecting your dial-up account, e-mail service and web site hosting.
Please read the following,
this is what you will need to know and do:
- For Your Dial-Up Account -
• If you have dial-up internet access from RamonaInternet.com , you will need to change the telephone number, user name and pass word settings used on your computer.
1.) Rather than changing the old connection setup, it might be easier to use the "Make New Connection Wizard". Once this is done, you will need to be sure to use the new connection (and delete the old connection).
2.) This new internet access service has improved access results that is faster to use, but you will need to download and install the accelerator software on your computer. For the SlipStream accelerator - Click here
3.) For the Ramona area the access number is 440-1330
For Borrego 857-1330
For Julian 260-1330
Please read the following,
this is what you will need to know and do:
- For Your E-mail Account -
• If you have an e-mail address at RamonaInternet.com ( or your domain name), you will need to update your e-mail account setup on your computer.
1.) Your e-mail address @ RamonaInternet.com can be the same (if
this is necessary).
We will try to provide you with the same address you have
already been
using.
2.) In the case of e-mail at RamonaInternet.com the URL of the web mail page is http://webmail.nethere.net .
3.) Your username name will be changing to something like this: "yourname"
This
is what you will be using to login to get your e-mail.
4.) Your password will probably need to change as well.
It will have to include at least 6 characters and
may have a number in it.
To change your password log-in to the
control panel here: https://cp.nethere.net
5.) In your e-mail application (Outlook Express, etc.) under the
server tab for the Server Information, instead of using "smtp.ramonainternet.com"
for the Outgoing mail (SMTP) entry, you will need to use "mail.nethere.net".
(Note: The entry for Incoming mail (POP3) has
changed and is "pop3.nethere.net".)
6.) You can have several e-mail aliases (same as before, this item has not changed), just let us know what you would like to use.
7.) The e-mail with the web based interface will be different as well.
- For Your Web site Account -
• If you have a web site that we are hosting for you, you
will have to completely upload (publish) your web site to the new server.
-The new server system is redundant
and backed up for maximum reliability.
1.) Your password will need to have at least six characters including at least one number.
2.) You can have multiple e-mail addresses at your domain name (same as before).
3.) You should be able to have personal web site related to your e-mail username and password.
4.) The domain name servers have also changed, you will need to use the new addresses given below.
Old: NS1.IBIZDNS.COM -> New: NS1.NETHERE.NET
Old: NS2.IBIZDNS.COM -> New: NS2.NETHERE.NET
Please tell us if you need FrontPage extensions, this
service can be provided at $5/m extra.
Also you will need to pay for hosting services on an annual bases.
